Tropical influences are evident in the 2006 swimsuits collection as more than 40 new prints with a tropical island theme are introduced. Some of these swimsuits prints emphasize the vibrancy of the ocean; while others like Shangri-la and Bamboo, feature multi-toned florals in blue, mint and burgundy. The patented Solar Tan ThruŽ swimsuits continues to satisfy beach lifestyle enthusiasts with its versatility and comfort. The high 32% lycra content of the swimsuits results in ease of movement in high function beach and watersports. The multifaceted textile allows water to evaporate through the pores of the swimsuits fabric causing the suit to dry in half the time of a regular suit. And most importantly, the bright, high contrast color prints make the fabric opaque to the eye when wet or dry. All the while allowing approx. 45% of the sun's rays through the fabric - truly tan through not see through.

Water-repellent "Dry WeaveŽ" swimwear from
SolarŽ Hi Tech is designed to repel water and inhibit water absorbency up to 99%. The patented technology allows for increased swimsuits durability, 100% colorfast fabric and assures comfort while commanding fashion. This ultra-quick drying fabric provides less weight, added comfort and competition quality. Additionally, the "Dry WeaveŽ" swimsuits fabric vastly reduces friction between the suit and water for optimum speed. The material's mesh and grip resemble that of currently popular woven items, and its "second skin" effect arises through a special polyamide multi-micro thread. The dynamic cut and style of this range is emphasized through flat seam work together with some color-contrasted decorative stitching, and extended designs are combined with interesting single-color areas.
